David Krueger MD has 20 years of recent experience coaching and mentoring professionals and organizations to create success strategies to attain and sustain optimum performance. He previously practiced and taught Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis for 25 years and was Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine. He has worked with athletes, CEOs, physicians, attorneys, corporations, and athletic organizations in the sports and business worlds.
David is author of 24 trade and professional books on success, wellness, self-development, and performance—and 75 scientific papers. His books include a bestselling business book translated into 10 languages, The Secret Language of Money (McGraw-Hill), and Success and the Fear of Success (The Free Press), which was part of the Master Work Series of the 100 Most Influential Professional Books of the 20th Century. A third book—Making Memories—was an Amazon regional #1 bestseller.
He was awarded the “International Association of Top Professionals Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2022. He founded and served as CEO of two healthcare corporations, co-founded a startup that went from venture capital to merger/acquisition, and founded the angel investment group Houston Gathering of Angels.
He is Founder of the NeuroMentor® Institute for Peak Performance training programs for Mentor Coaches as well as for professional athletes, performers, and business teams. He has trained 2,300 professional coaches at CTA, and 425 Specialty Certified Mentor Coaches in his own programs on six continents. These coaches are actively involved with individual clients and corporate training, as well as university and business school graduate education. David regularly offers continuing education seminars to these and other professional coaches and executives. He was a previous consultant to the Women’s International Tennis Association and was a founding member of the International Society for Sports Psychiatry.
